That leaves people like us who have stubborn belly fats to feel upset and disappointed of our body and how we look. How To Lose Belly Fat Fast?
We can get rid of them, that’s a fact. Though there are certain pills and diet supplements, this will not be enough to get you your desired belly as it will only make you lose weight but will never develop your muscles. Hence, what we need to do to achieve that perfectly glorious abs is to give time and effort for exercise and eating well-balanced meals that are healthy. These are natural and no side effects unlike those diet pills and supplements that already have certain chemicals in them.
Personally speaking and based on experience, I categorized losing my belly fats into three:
(1) Proper mindset
(2) Physical activities directing abdominal muscles, and
(3) Complete healthy meals
These are just three categories but with a lot of things on them that we need to understand for us to have that heat-inducing abs.
The journey might not be pleasant and will require your determination and motivation to drop those unwanted belly fats, hence, the proper mind set is needed. I have seen people, and I admit that I was one of them until I finally decide to change, who started a program and gave their all during the first few days and even weeks. But they got tired along the way and stopped after a month or so which made all their efforts useless. Unfortunately, since they did not return to their exercise routines, they have regained fats that they should have already lost.
Once you put in your mind that you want to do this and you have a driving force to reach your goal of losing those unnecessary baggage, then you will have the self discipline to continue and the willpower to push yourself to achieve that desired goal. This mindset will also not let you give up when you are too tired to exercise or do physical activities.
Physical activities are also important because they develop our abdominal muscles. Once developed, they become firmer and stronger which enables you to be confident about it. There are a lot of exercises that you can do for your abdomen. Most of us do crunches, however, according to the author of The New Rules of Lifting for Abs, Lou Schuler, crunches are never enough as they only do wonders on the front and sides of our abdomen. To have the best abs, we should also develop our core muscles including those on our lower backs, hips and upper thighs.
Thirdly, our last category is the meal plan. Caloric intake that are in excess of what we need is one of the major reasons why we bloat and have excessive baggage of fats in us. Starving your selves just to make your belly flat is not helpful at all because not only are you becoming undernourished but you are also altering your natural body system. It is advisable to eat the right amount of food with enough calories so that we can still continue doing our daily tasks without getting weak.
Now that we have categorized what we need, I’ll let you now know the best ways on how to get rid of belly fat. I have here a combination of exercises and eating tips that will help you reduce your belly fat as it had helped me way back then.
1. Side plank
This is an exercise that works not only your abdominal muscles but your entire core. To do this, you must lie with your elbow on the floor and in straight line with your shoulder. Stack your feet one on top of the other and place your right hand on your right hip. Brace your abs and raise your hips off the floor while balancing on your forearm and feet. Your body should form a diagonal line by now and you should hold it for 30-40 seconds. Repeat on the other side.
2. Walkout from Push-up Position
Like the side plank, this exercise will also strengthen your entire core and it is easy to do. Just have yourself in a push up position with hands a couple of inches away from your shoulders. Then, walk hands out as far as possible and walk back. Repeat this whole procedure for 10 – 12 times.
3. Donkey kickbacks
This is definitely one of the best calories killer exercises. You should kneel in all fours with your toes tucked under and keeping your back in a neutral position. Then, contract your abs while drawing your belly in toward your spine and lift both knees a couple of inches from the ground. Bring your right knee toward your nose and kick the same leg straight backward while squeezing your butt. Have this routine repeated for 8 times and do the same on the other leg.
4. Take a brisk walk before breakfast
A recent study found that when you expose yourself to sunlight between 8 am and noon, you reduced your risk for weight gain no matter your caloric intake or level of physical activity. Brisk walking will also help you burn down caloric intake and stored fats.
5. Avoid eating on fast foods and soda
Fast food is a major no-no if you want to lose your belly fats. The food that they serve contains lots and lots of calories and fats. The calories from their food are really hard to burn and will make you feel more bloated afterwards. Sodas also contain a lot of calories and the worst part is that they don’t offer any nutritional value at all. It has been said that calories from soda comes from a fructose corn syrup which our body does not know how to process that turns into belly fats.
6. Eat 5 small meals a day
We usually eat three times a day, right? Why don’t you try eating small portions of food 5 times a day? This set up will help you from feeling hungry as you replenish your tummy every now and then.
7. Drink water before a meal
This helps, trust me. Drinking water before eating a meal will make you feel full and lets you control the amount that you eat. It is advisable that you drink 1 glass of water before you eat as it will also help improve digestion right after.

8. Reduce salt intake
Salt retains water, therefore, when you eat food that contains too much salt, you experience water retention which makes you feel bloated and will add up to your big belly.
9. Avoid stress
It may sound weird but avoiding stress can really help you reduce your belly fats. When you are under stress, your body produces hormones that alter metabolism in some ways. Also, when you are under stress, there is a tendency that you will stress-eat because you compensate your stress with the food, particularly sweets, that you eat.
Having shared these insights and tips of how to reduce belly fat, I sincerely hope that you will be able to achieve your desired outcome. Belly fats are just an excess baggage and just like any other baggage; we can leave unnecessary things behind so that we will not have the hassle to carry it anymore.
